Type of tourism research activities
In January 2008, a decision was made to reduce the number of laboratories to one single facility called CRESCEM (ESCEM Research Center), from which four lines of research are led, in keeping with ESCEM’s strategy and programs.
The four following lines have been highlighted:
Entrepreneurship and innovation strategies
This line brings together a team of ESCEM researchers around scientific projects whose aim is to produce educational and conceptual understanding in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Marketing of Services and Customer Relationship Management
Areas developed in this line center on marketing and management of service activities, broken down into four main topics: marketing of services, customer relationship management, marketing tourist activities and the process of developing the product and service offer.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainable Development (SD) and Business Ethics
The research line focusing on business ethics, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development brings together academic and professional participants who are committed to this theme and want to contribute their expertise to the development of theoretical and operational research activities.
Generally defined as the set of regulatory mechanisms set up in the pursuit of a joint project, both on a global scale as in the spirit of entrepreneurship, governance today is experiencing the growing influence of changes in the world economic and financial system.
