Type of tourism research activities
Studies on the spatial aspects of tourism development, with a particular focus on tourism function, tourism destination governance, instruments of local policy, innovativeness, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and knowledge-intensive services (KIS) in tourism, entrepreneurship and competitiveness in tourism, the role of tourism in international economics. The main goal of the studies is to identify the determinants of tourism destinations development and to recommend directions of tourism policy at different levels of governance.
